February 11, 2009 Record Snowfall

On February 11, 2009; it started snowing around 4am. It snowed, and snowed, and snowed for about 24 hours. Officially, DFW recorded 12.5 inches. The temperature stayed just above freezing for most of the day limiting the accumulation onthe ground and especially the streets.
